Starting January 1, 2026, non-Lithuanian speakers providing goods or services in Lithuania are required to be able to serve customers in the state language—Lithuanian.
For the first two years, a basic level equivalent to A1 is required. To continue working in customer-facing roles after that, you will need to speak Lithuanian at an A2 level.
By starting your Lithuanian language learning now, you won’t just meet the official legal requirements—you’ll also gain the confidence to communicate freely at work, in daily life, and with state institutions.

Note on categories: The Basic Category Exam corresponds to level A1, Category I Exam to A2, and Category II Exam to B1.
OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE
Upon successfully completing the course, you will receive an Official Certificate of Completion specifying your training program and the level achieved.
The Certificate of Completion confirms your attendance and successful completion of the course. Please note that to officially certify a state language proficiency category, you must pass the corresponding official state exam.
COURSE GOAL
The goal is to help you master the Lithuanian language, prepare for work and daily life in Lithuania, and successfully pass the official state language proficiency exam.
During the course, you will learn to:

- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and employers
- Greet others, introduce yourself, and share essential basic information
- Answer frequently asked questions from customers
- Understand key phrases used in the workplace
- Negotiate time, prices, services, and orders
- Speak Lithuanian with greater accuracy and confidence
- Prepare thoroughly for the official state language exam
The course content is tailored to your current language level, job field, and personal goals. Lessons focus on real-life situations you encounter every day in Lithuania.

Before starting, we will assess your current language level, discuss your personal goals, and select the best learning plan for you.
COURSE DETAILS
The full Lithuanian Language Course (A2 level) lasts 6 months (48 lessons in total):
A1 level – 3 months (24 lessons)
A2 level – 3 months (24 lessons)
Note: After completing the first 3 months (A1 level), you can decide whether to stop your studies or continue to the A2 level.
Course pricing:
- A1 level (24 lessons) – 360 eur
- A2 level (24 lessons) – 360 eur
Payment is split into 3 monthly installments of 120 eur (each covering 8 lessons). The first installment must be paid before the start of the course.
Please note: By signing the agreement, you commit to paying the full course fee (360 eur total per level).
